Experience
I started in recruitment in 1999. After time spent at Havas and PwC, I founded talent attraction business Social Media Search as a joint venture with Norman Broadbent plc and after leading a MBO, I then co-founded Candidate.ID in 2016.
As the world's first marketing automation platform for talent acquisition, Candidate.ID won numerous awards and as CEO, I raised $MM external investment, led a successful exit, to iCIMS Inc / Vista Equity Partners in 2022 and it was a brilliant experience.
Skills
I'm a really good leader with broad skills including strategy, product, marketing, sales, finance, investment raising and building great senior teams. Functionally, I am an expert in talent attraction, including talent sourcing, employer branding, recruitment marketing and HR technology. More specifically, you won't find many people more experienced in building talent pipelines.
What do I do?
I am entirely focused on developing a new HR tech start-up, Poetry - the recruiter enablement workspace for talent acquisition and RPO teams.
